inHype (“we”, “us”) helps you write and publish LinkedIn posts in your own voice. This policy explains what data we collect, why we collect it, and the choices you have. The short version: we only collect what the product needs to work, we never sell your data, and you can delete everything with one click.
1.Data we collect
LinkedIn account data. When you sign in with LinkedIn we receive your name, email address, profile photo, and LinkedIn member ID, plus the access tokens needed to publish posts you approve. Tokens are stored encrypted at rest.
Public profile content. During onboarding we may analyze your public LinkedIn posts to learn your writing voice. The resulting voice profile is stored with your account.
Content you create. Drafts, edits, scheduled posts, generated images, and the topics or feeds you configure.
Billing data. Payments are processed by Stripe. We store your Stripe customer ID and subscription status — never your card number.
Usage basics. Standard technical logs (IP address, browser type, timestamps) used for security and debugging.
2.How we use your data
To generate post drafts in your voice, publish posts to LinkedIn only when you approve or schedule them, show you performance analytics, operate your subscription, and send you service emails (e.g. trial reminders, payment issues).
We do not sell your personal data or use it to advertise to you.
3.Service providers we share data with
We use a small number of processors to run inHype: LinkedIn (sign-in and publishing), Stripe (payments), AI model providers such as Anthropic and Google (draft and image generation — your voice profile and the source material for a post are sent to generate text), a profile-data provider for the one-time onboarding analysis, and our hosting and email infrastructure. Each receives only what it needs to perform its function.
4.Retention and deletion
We keep your data while your account is active. Deleting your account in Settings permanently removes your profile, voice data, drafts, connections, and tokens from our systems. Posts already published to LinkedIn remain on LinkedIn under your control.
5.Cookies
We use first-party session cookies to keep you signed in. No third-party advertising cookies.
6.Security
LinkedIn tokens are encrypted at rest, traffic is encrypted in transit, and access to production systems is restricted. No system is perfectly secure — if a breach affects your data we will notify you promptly.
7.Your rights
You can access, correct, export, or delete your data at any time — most of it directly in the app, or by emailing us. Depending on where you live (e.g. the EU/EEA or UK), you may have additional statutory rights, which we honor.
